He has a tenacious desire and attitude to deliver everything to an excelling standard, quickly unlocking complex problems, spotting opportunities and risk, and knows that true team collaboration is the only recipe for a successful result.
During the worldwide challenges of 2020-2022, the explosive demand for digital solutions has seen Steve work on myriad exciting challenges, with particular focus on Web3 metaverse environments and apps. Steve’s most recent experience traverses pharmaceutical and medical innovation, banking, education and FMCG industries.
Steve migrated to Australia in 200X to lead the UX team at News Corp Australia as the result of an international head-hunt. Within six months of his engagement, his curated team had successfully delivered a complete redesign of all News’ online Australian mastheads, increasing customer engagement and online subscriptions by more than 40%.
Prior to this, Steve was Creative Design lead at Sky TV based in London, and was responsible for the very first Sky Broadcast Navigation (OSP) design system, resulting in increased TV subscriptions. He was Design Lead on Sky TV Guide, Sky Go, Sky Sports and Sky Living – his time at the broadcaster resulting in a prestigious design award for the Sky News platform.
